Beratungsstellen gibt es in allen Bildungsregionen. Der Zugang zu schulpsychologischen Unterstützungsleistungen kann über Vermittlung der Schule oder aber auch direkt durch Terminvereinbarung mit der regional zuständigen Beratungsstelle erfolgen. Die Inanspruchnahme von schulpsychologischen Leistungen ist grundsätzlich immer freiwillig und kostenlos. Als Teil der Schulbehörde leistet die Schulpsychologie auch fachbezogene Beiträge bei der Konzeption und Umsetzung von Initiativen und Reformen im Schulsystem, sei es auf regionaler Ebene, im jeweiligen Bundesland oder auch auf Bundesebene. In den schulpsychologischen Beratungsstellen sind immer für die Tätigkeit im Schulbereich eigens ausgebildete Psycholog:innen beschäftigt, zusätzlich aber oft auch andere psychosoziale Unterstützungskräfte wie Sozialarbeiter:innen oder Sozialpädagog:innen. Eine enge Zusammenarbeit besteht auch mit Schulärztinnen und Schulärzten." |
